Kemi Dradi is a seeker of life, healer, creative artist, and value-driven leader. Born and raised in the midst of the SPLA civil war in Uganda/South Sudan, her family relocated to Australia in search of refuge. Growing up as an Australian migrant, Kemi's creativity was shaped by her family’s artistic linage, which spans creative arts, music, and entertainment. She initially carved her career in the fashion industry, where she discovered a profound passion for self-expression through colours and style, eventually branching out into hospitality, events, and other creative arts.
Driven by a passion for community empowerment, Kemi founded Astral African Market, a platform aim to bridge Black-Owned businesses and African entrepreneurs with the broader Australian community. The market celebrates African culture through vibrant textiles, traditional foods, music, and dance, creating an authentic and immersive experience. Through her visionary leadership, Kemi honors her heritage, reconnects with her roots, and fosters unity and creativity within the diverse African diaspora.
